sleeparchive - hospital tracks
Da minha pequena colecção já faz parte este fabuloso vinil. E para já, não tenho grandes dúvidas para afirmar que provavelmente é o melhor que tenho dentro do género em que se insere.

science 2101 - now phreeq/i'm so lucky
"Science is a gray-area label distributed out of Koln. The first releases (2101, 2102, 2103 -- there are no traditional artist names) ) are Chic disco-edit tracks, ecstatically produced. Produced by one Justus Köhncke if you believe rumours on the internet, but that would be cheating. There's so much euphoria built into the opening "I'm So Lucky" that they ought to try to bottle it and leave a few batches of it for the survivors of the (soon arriving) apocalypse. Official description: "Floorburning tribute to Bernard Edwards (Chic) by an anonymous artist."

reanimator - reanimator 12'' (community library)
Quase que não chegava a vinil este som. As "master tapes" estiveram quase a ser perdidas no furacão Katrina, mas foram recolhidas a tempo para a produção deste registo. Segundo dizem, é um dos grupos mais estranhos de Portland na área da electrónica. Inspirados em sons como Pan Sonic, Force Field e Mouse on Mars, este duo anónimo (assim o querem) que se juntaram em 2001 conseguiram lançar este vinil cujo a gravação terá sido feita por alturas de 2000.

"Reanimator were experts at improvising heavy, synthetic, syncopated, and dubbed-out minimal beat music using the barest machinery. With a handful of mismatched drum machines, test-tone oscillators, budget samplers, and delay pedals, and improvising directly to ¼” tape, they created a huge body of work, ranging from the pacific, chord-backed “Phase Constellation” to the polyrhythmic thump of “Special Powers.” This collection demonstrates the band's rugged “pirate” ingenuity and DIY inspiration as they forged into the unknown hinterlands of minimal, handmade electro-techno- or as the band called it then, “evil dub.” "
