Eric "Kid Koala" San, Chinês-Canadiano, nascido em Vancouver, acaba de lançar o seu mais recente álbum "You Mom's Favorite DJ". Se alguém pensar que a arte de fazer "Scratching" não é capaz de produzir albuns de qualidade, isto apesar de sabermos que scratch muitos dj's são capazes de conseguir, está enganado! No entanto, com a qualidade que Koala vai mantendo ao longo dos tempos, é que já é acessível a muitos. "Your Mom's Favorite DJ" é "The album title refers to the fact that his old-fashioned, humorous, often romantic samples could well be the kind of thing that your mom/mum might listen to, even if the bits that weave them all together most definitely aren’t".
